Speight’s Alehouse, Bealey Ave in Christchurch 

In 2016 we pulled down the entire pub and built it back up from the ground. We were handed some plans and an impossible deadline, but we got it completed on time, exceeding the customer’s expectations. The entire demolition and rebuild was a huge success, from rebuilding the structural elements including the walls and roofing, to fitting out the kitchen, bathrooms, bar and outdoor area. A job fit for one of the busiest alehouses in the South Island.

Lambton Quay Retail Shop De-fit - Wellington

It was approaching Christmas time and we were handed the keys to a shop and asked to make it ready for a new retail customer. We completely stripped out the whole place including the shop front, staff room, rear access-way and security room and went about making it look like new. This required extensive gibbing, plastering, sanding and painting. The new retailer was in on-time ready to take advantage of the Christmas rush, which made our customer very happy.

Speight’s Alehouse, Tower Junction in Christchurch

Another alehouse, another epic job with another satisfied customer. This alehouse was a re-fit - we ripped out almost everything inside and replaced it with something new and fresh. By the time we were done it had new bathrooms, a newly resurfaced floor, patched and freshly painted walls, a lively dining area and an excellent outdoor area enhanced by the maintenance we did to the outside of the building.

Linwood Crematorium in Christchurch

This crematorium was a victim of the Canterbury earthquakes and required extensive structural strengthening and cosmetic attention. We were able to work with the customer to provide a repair strategy that was within their budget that allowed them to commence business well before they thought possible, saving them tens of thousands of dollars. With this place meaning so much to so many people it will always be one of our favourites.

Residential Extension in Upper Hutt

What do you do when the market is too expensive to buy a bigger house? Make your existing house bigger! We worked with this couple through the design and planning phase, getting consent from the council and getting their extension completed and ready for their family. Working with young families to realise a dream always gives us the warm fuzzies.
